The winner of this year's San Francisco Dream House Raffle was finally announced, after receiving lots of interest from across California and beyond. Set up to benefit Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the charity raffle featured a stunning $2.4 million house in San Francisco (or $1.8 million cash), together with over 370 other early bird prizes ranging from $300 to $25,000.

With so many prizes on offer, the odds of winning at least one prize were only 100 to 1. This, combined with the attractiveness of the property prize itself, helped ensure this year's fundraiser was very popular with players. The Grand Prize drawing took place on Saturday 25 July. The winner of the property raffle, Vivian Heinzel of San Carlos, CA, will be handed the keys to the luxury home.

At approximately 3,150 square feet, the three-story main house was completed to a very high standard in 2008 and comes together with its very own guest cottage. It is custom built and has never been lived in. Together with the cottage, it offers a combined 4,200 square feet of living space.

The main house features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large formal dining room and chef's kitchen; while the guest house is completely self-contained, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A private courtyard connects both houses, and the property features ample parking with a rare four-car garage in San Francisco.

Congratulations to Ms Heinzel for her amazing property prize, together with everyone that took part in the raffle this year. For full details of the Dream House Raffle winners, visit the sfraffle.com website.
